The PACE Initiative is more than afterschool care—it’s a powerful pathway for children to build positive relationships, form healthy habits, and discover new passions in a fun and supportive environment.​

Apply for your child to take part in daily afterschool sessions (mon-thur) or choose which weekly/bi-weekly/monthly session that you think your child would enjoy! Learn more about daily afterschool care and available weekly sessions below!

1-to-1 Mentoring

Weekly: Mon/Tues/Or Wed

Mentors/mentees participate in a variety of stations together to connect through play and teach about self-regulation and a healthy mindset

Creative Arts w/Mabee-Gerrer Museum

Every Monday

Kids dive into a wide range of art styles and techniques—from painting and clay to collage and abstract expression—while learning about artists and cultures in a fun, age-appropriate way.

Create W/ Carolina

Every Wednesday

Kids explore their creativity through hands-on crafts like jewelry-making, clay charms, pixel art, and even gardening—designed to spark imagination, build skills, and connect with peers in a nurturing space.

Motion Bike Club

Every Thursday

Our Motion Bike Club is a fun, confidence-boosting way for kids to learn how to ride safely and enjoy being active with friends. After learning essential street readiness skills, kids go on guided group rides to fun destinations around town.

Nonni’s Table (Kids Culinary Classes)

Every Other Tuesday

Give your child the chance to step into a world of delicious discovery through hands-on culinary classes led by a Swiss-born instructor from a long line of pastry chefs. With stories passed from generations and recipes like Mailänderli cookies and filled croissants, your child will not only learn baking skills—they’ll experience culture, creativity, and a warm cup of tea at the table together.

WonderQuest Academy

Every Other Tuesday

WonderQuest Academy is a newly launched after-school adventure program where kids design and become their own imaginative character through movement, creativity, costume-building, and story-based challenges.

Creative Movement Combo Class led by Kindred Creative

One Thursday Monthly

The Kindred Creative Movement Combo Class is a fun and nurturing introduction to dance for children. Each class blends ballet, jazz, and clogging fundamentals with music, movement, and creative play. Students build coordination, confidence, and kindness through engaging songs, storytelling, and dance-based games.

Zumba Class led by Candi Martin

One Thursday Monthly

Kids will participate in a fun, high-energy Zumba class designed just for youth. Each session includes easy-to-follow dance movements set to upbeat music, time to move freely, and moments to connect with peers in a positive environment

Program Location: Uplift Mentoring (126 S Center St, Shawnee, OK 74801)

Days / Hours of Operation: Programming offered Monday-Thursday / 3:00pm to 5:00pm (School Year Only)

Ages Served: 1st Grade-8th Grade

PROGRAM FEES

4 Days Weekly: $2,160 Annually or $240 Monthly over 9 months

3 Days Weekly: $1,620 Annually or $180 Monthly over 9 months

2 Days Weekly: $1,080 Annually or $120 Monthly over 9 months

1 Day Weekly: $540 Annually or $60 Monthly over 9 months

(Full or Partial Scholarships offered on a limited basis)

Key Developmental Focus Areas

SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • To promote self-regulation and healthy mindset through 1-to-1 mentoring relationships and small group activities.

COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT

  • To spark curiosity, problem-solving, and a love for learning through hands-on projects, creative challenges, and rotating enrichment sessions.

PHYSICAL HEALTH

  • To promote health, coordination, and confidence through active movement and play. This is primarily achieved through daily recreation, structured games, and Bike Club activities for upper elementary/middle school students (optional offering)

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

  • To encourage children to grow in their faith through. mentor-led reflections, small group conversations, memorizing scripture, and practicing spiritual disciplines. **Parents may opt-out of this portion of programming if they wish to do so.
